What this tool does
The bonus calculator takes four inputs. These are your deposit in NZ dollars, the bonus match percent, the wagering multiplier and the game contribution percent. It then estimates how much you need to bet under bonus-only wagering. Check the offer's terms to see whether wagering applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus bonus. It runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
The tool also gives a quick rating of the offer. That rating is a fixed rule, not artificial intelligence, and not a casino's view of its own bonus.
Reading the result
The bonus amount is your deposit multiplied by the match percent. The starting balance row adds the deposit and the bonus together, so you can see the full amount in play before any wagering starts.
The total to wager row is the bonus amount multiplied by the wagering multiplier. This tool uses bonus-only wagering, while some casinos apply wagering to the deposit plus the bonus instead, so the offer's own terms decide which method applies and you should check them before you deposit.
The you need to bet row divides the total to wager by the game contribution percent. A low contribution rate pushes the required bets up fast.

What the quick rating leaves out
The quick rating follows one fixed rule, set out in the table. Anything that matches neither row is Average. These cut-offs are our own rule of thumb, not an industry standard.

The rating ignores several terms that change what a bonus is worth. It does not look at the maximum bet, the expiry date, the maximum cashout, or excluded games. A Good rating is not a promise that the offer suits you. Read the operator's bonus terms in full before you decide.
